In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth in perfect harmony, with humanity living in close relationship with Him free from pain, injustice, and suffering.
Humanity was given the ability to choose and subsequently rebelled against God, this is defined as sin. This rebellion introduced death, separated humanity from God, and led to ongoing injustice and damage.
Despite humanity’s fall, God’s love remained. He implemented a redemption plan by sending His Son and bearing the punishment for sin Himself, offering eternal life as a gift to those who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.
God intends for people to live in partnership with Him here and now, participating in the kingdom of God on earth rather than waiting until death. We partner with Him in seeing the earth become more like heaven.
