Centre Church is a renewed and renewing church with the mission – to know Jesus and to make Jesus known. In all things, Jesus is at the centre: the centre of our faith and the centre of our very existence. And it’s only in Jesus that we find the source of all life. This is the heart behind our logo.
Our visual identity is anchored in both the Word and the Spirit, featuring the movement and manifest presence of Jesus and the structured truth of His Word. Both of these aspects are essential for abundant life in Jesus – true worship is done in both Spirit and truth.
The Word icon resembles that of a handwritten signature, emphasizing our belief that Scripture is God’s Word, inspired by the Spirit, and breathed out by God.
The Spirit icon depicts a dove, recalling the Holy Spirit’s descent on Jesus during His baptism and highlighting the Spirit’s active presence and desire to be with us today.
Grace is offered to everyone through Jesus. The complete transformation of our lives through this grace is represented in the Gospel icon. The curved line with a cross at the centre reflects the invitation of the Gospel for everyone to encounter Jesus. When we call on His name, confess our sin, and turn to Him as Lord of our lives we experience the power and joy of His salvation.
Our relationship with God grows out of prayer; our abiding is continued through prayer, and we experience His power in prayer. The Prayer icon represents our open hands in our posture of prayer, surrendering to His will and His Word, while waiting on Him and abiding in Him.
Every Christian has a call to full-time ministry and the Priesthood icon represents this call. That we as sons and daughters of the King are a royal priesthood and are called to use our spiritual gifts to build up the church and contend for God’s Kingdom to come in our cities!
