Discipleship & Care Ministry

The primary mechanism for discipleship and care within the body is gospel community.

All of our gatherings, events, classes, and ministries provide opportunity for connection, discipleship, and care. As a church we are here to help you find encouragement, hope, and healing in Jesus Christ.

Discipleship & Care primarily take place

What do discipleship & care look like at Centre Church?

As you engage within this church community through serving, classes, and events - discipleship and care should naturally happen. However, there are specific times and seasons where additional care and support are needed, and Centre Church is here to walk alongside you in that as well.

General Care

As a church family, we have a biblical responsibility to love and care for one another: "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10)."

General Care occurs in gospel community, where we have the opportunity to practice many of the 59 "one anothers” that we see in Scripture.

General Care also happens in many of our ministries and classes. Subscribe to the newsletter and calendar to get connected today.

Pastoral Care

There are situations and seasons where you are feeling stuck and in need of Bible-based counsel and prayer beyond what your gospel community is able to provide. Our team would love to hear more about your situation to discern the best next step for you in your discipleship. Please make sure your gospel community is aware of and walking alongside you in this situation. When you are ready, please fill out the Care intake form to connect with someone on staff for additional support and care.

Professional Care

Professional counselling is one avenue God has ordained for healing and growth in our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual lives. We do not offer professional counselling through Centre Church but we are happy to provide a list of Christian counsellors in the area, upon request. Please keep in mind that you will need to do your own research to ensure the best fit for you in your search for professional counselling and care.

Benevolence

If you are in crisis and seeking immediate help or shelter, reach out to local resources. We will be providing links to trusted resources in the coming days.

As part of fulfilling our mission in this city, Centre Church may at times be able to provide financial assistance to those with basic and temporary needs within our community. As part of this process, we ask that you submit a Benevolent request from to see if you are eligible.
