We are followers of Jesus whose shared mission is ‘to know Jesus and make Jesus known!’ We believe Jesus is the source of all life and knowing Him is the great treasure every man, woman, and child is created to experience and enjoy.
To be a renewed and renewing church as we prioritize the manifest presence of Jesus’ Spirit and total obedience to His written word.
We believe the scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit and breathed out by God. We are committed to the whole Bible as authoritative, sufficient, and inerrant. We believe submission to the word of God is a necessity for every follower of Jesus. And we believe that one of the most important ways to live faithfully with Him is to refuse to elevate personal preference and opinion and come under His word as authoritative instead.
At Centre Church we are devoted to studying, preaching, teaching, and obeying the whole of scripture to the best of our ability.
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today and that it’s His desire to be in an ever-deepening relationship with the people of Jesus (the Church). So we are devoted to following the lead of the Holy Spirit in everything we do. We believe every Christian is given at least one spiritual gift to develop and use to build up the rest of the body. We believe every follower of Jesus is called and invited to be filled with the Holy Spirit continually and grow to maturity in their relationship with Him.
Every covenant member of our church is called and equipped to love, obey, and grow to trust the Spirit of Jesus more and more.
