As Christians, created in the image of God and filled with the Holy Spirit, we are all imbued with creative power and the ability to make broken things beautiful. Jesus’ glory is what we put on display when we embody His redemptive creativity and artistry. Our culture is saturated by a limited, reductionist, and nihilistic world view, yet the creative arts speak to the transcendent nature of who God is and who we are invited to become in Him. Through creating, we express the grace and redemption we’ve experienced in Jesus as He leads us from darkness to light.
From January 15th – March 8th
Lindsey Roseboom is a multidisciplinary artist, whose main bodies of work are drawn realism using powder pastel and graphite. The aim of her work is to connect us into the beautifully humble moments in our lives that are, in-fact, wondrous.
Aimee Ruoff makes paintings, drawings, and hand-painted animations from her home studio in Vancouver. In her work she looks for small sublime moments within everyday life, focusing on what is fleeting and ethereal as a reminder of the temporality of life. This process of taking time to seek and translate what she sees into painting has become both an act of devotion and a quiet subversion of the pressing speed that defines our cultural moment.
Aimee Gee is a kingdom-minded florist working from her home studio in Vancouver, BC. Her work is rooted in a desire to help people feel seen, valued, and treasured, believing that flowers can serve as an invitation to experience God’s love in a multitude of ways.
